Jakub Kupcu leads CLARITAS Investments’ Polish platform, carrying full responsibility for building and scaling the firm’s renewable energy and battery storage business in the country. In this role, he oversees the entire investment value chain; from site origination and development through structuring, commercial close, and asset management – coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver results across each stage.
On the commercial side, Jakub drives PPA/FPA structuring and route-to-market strategy for both operating and pipeline assets, working with a broad spectrum of market participants: corporate offtakers, utilities, network operators, balancing service providers, and financial counterparties. This breadth of engagement reflects his ability to navigate the regulatory, contractual, and commercial dimensions of CEE energy markets simultaneously.
With a strong legal background underpinning his commercial practice, Jakub brings particular experience into transaction structuring, risk allocation, and market entry decisions; areas where precision at the design stage determines long-term value.
He represents CLARITAS at key regional industry events, contributing to the market conversation on BESS commercialization, PPA market development, and the evolving frameworks shaping the CEE energy transition.
