Maciej Rebajn is Head of Asset Optimization at Respect Energy, responsible for optimizing the performance and commercial value of the company’s renewable energy assets, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and flexibility portfolio. He oversees asset optimization strategies, balancing services, market participation, and revenue maximization, working closely with technology partners, investors, and grid operators to enhance asset performance and unlock new value streams across renewable energy and storage projects.
Previously, Maciej served as Head of Strategy Execution and Business Development at Qemetica, where he oversaw strategic initiatives, international expansion, and M&A for one of the largest industrial businesses in Central Europe. Before that, he spent nine years at Bain & Company in Europe, Australia, and Asia, advising energy, infrastructure, and private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions, growth strategies, and performance improvement.
Maciej holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics and is passionate about innovation in the energy transition.
