Ms Szolnoki leads the Energy Storage Working Group at the Hungarian Battery Association (HUBA). Over the past years, under her leadership, the working group has played a significant role in public consultations on the government’s storage subsidy programmes. It also represents storage licensees within the network code committees of the DSOs and the TSO, and produces working papers and recommendations that advocate for storage-specific regulation within the Hungarian electricity system.
Pálma also serves as a Senior Research Associate at the research center Zero Carbon Hub, based at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where she leads several research projects focused on decarbonising Hungary’s energy sector, including initiatives related to battery storage.
