Thomas is Head of Commercial at Gore Street Capital, having joined the firm in 2021 after previous experience in the fields of renewables and sustainability. In his role, Thomas focuses on the operational performance of grid-scale energy storage systems. He works across Gore Street’s global fleet, working with key stakeholders on market research, grid integration, monetisation, and optimisation of projects. Thomas lends his knowledge of markets to Gore Street’s development of new projects, contributing to M&A due diligence, and targeting new markets. He has also helped set-up Gore Street’s trading operations across multiple markets, negotiating with local players to implement route to market arrangement.
Thomas holds a Master’s in Climate Finance from the Imperial College Business school as well as a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
