Krzysztof Szetela, PMP®, is an energy-sector manager specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems, energy transition and strategic energy projects. With over a decade of experience across Poland’s leading energy companies, he combines deep sector knowledge with expertise in project development, investment, business strategy and stakeholder management.
At Ignitis Group, a leading integrated energy group in the Baltic region, Krzysztof focuses on the development and management of BESS projects in Poland, bringing together technical, commercial, financial and regulatory perspectives to support investment decisions and project delivery. His previous roles at PSE, ORLEN PGE and KGHM included leadership of strategic initiatives and projects in energy storage, hydrogen, renewables and energy-system flexibility.
With an academic background combining Energy Engineering with Management, he brings together a technical understanding of energy systems with a strong business and economic perspective.
