Oleksandr Havva is Acting Director General of JSC “Market Operator”. He brings extensive experience in the energy sector, electricity market development and public regulation. He has played an active role in implementing Ukraine’s new electricity market model and establishing real-time monitoring mechanisms for the electricity market.
He also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”.
Today, he leads JSC “Market Operator”, the institution responsible for the operation and development of Ukraine’s spot electricity markets, including the Day-Ahead and Intraday Markets.
JSC “Market Operator” operates two key segments of Ukraine’s electricity market — the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) and the Intraday Market (IDM) — providing transparent, competitive and efficient conditions for electricity trading. The company also conducts analytical research and provides expert insights into current developments and key issues shaping Ukraine’s energy sector.
