Tomasz Janiszewski is Vice President and Member of the Management Board of Columbus Energy Trade Company and Head of Large-Scale Renewable Energy Investment Finance within the Columbus Energy Capital Group. With over 20 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, finance, and advisory services, he specializes in developing and financing large-scale renewable energy projects and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
He leads the development of a 3.6 GW BESS pipeline, large-scale PV and wind projects, and energy solutions for data centres and industrial customers. Tomasz played a key role in delivering Poland’s first large-scale commercial BESS project (133 MW / 0.55 GWh) supported by a capacity market contract. His responsibilities include project finance, investment planning, portfolio management, energy trading, and risk management.
Previously, he served as Managing Director for Investment Finance at PSE, overseeing infrastructure projects worth PLN 42 billion. He also held senior roles at GE Capital, Barclays, PwC, EY, and KPMG. A certified LEAN Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Tomasz is committed to advancing Poland’s energy transition and sustainable growth.
